Data Analytics Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Engage with end users to understand their requests, ensuring clear communication, and perform detailed data analysis to address their needs and deliver actionable insights.

• Support and enhance existing in-house data reporting processes.

• Support the data science and engineering teams in designing, building, and managing ETL pipelines.

• Resolve data issues in related applications, ensuring high-quality support throughout the resolution process. 

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field from a reputable institution, with a strong academic record.

• 5+ years of experience in a large-scale organization, primarily focused on data analytics or modeling projects.

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Proficient in business intelligence tools and technologies, including Pandas, Tableau and Power BI.

• Experienced in prototyping analytics concepts and developing interactive solutions using tools like Streamlit.

• Advanced technical skills in MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel.

• Experience with machine learning algorithms and NLP techniques is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in the financial industry is preferred.

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over work.
