We are a world leader in researching mobile and optical communication networks and systems, as well as machine learning, computer vision, and compressing digital videos. At the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, the Wireless Communications and Networks department pioneers technologies for next-generation wireless communication systems. Our Millimeter Wave (mm-Wave) Group specializes in the design, simulation, and implementation of mobile communication and measurement systems operating up to 500 GHz. Over the past decade, we have developed deep expertise in channel measurements, antenna design, and advanced transceiver technologies such as switch-mode amplifiers and full-duplex transmission. Our work includes custom analog and digital hardware design and experimental system implementations that push the boundaries of what is possible in high-frequency wireless.

There is no remuneration for pure Master's theses.
The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
