Consultant - Supply Chain - Bangalore

Roles & responsibilities

•The role requires the candidate to have a prior experience in at least two out of four: •Supply Chain Strategy (Operation Model Development) •Supply Chain Analytics (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python) •Supply Chain Planning (Demand and Supply planning) •Optimization (Network, Inventory and Warehouse optimization) •Work as an independent contributor to drive supply chain optimization and implementation projects for our clients. •Coordinate with onsite engagements teams and clients to gather requirements, develop work plan, determine expectations, and finalize deliverables. •Collaborate with other service networks to solicit services  required for success of the client engagement. •Contribute to supply chain capability business development and pre-sales activities. •Should have exceptional data crunching skills with ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights. •Should have excellent communication skills and prior experience of interacting independently with global stakeholders. •Help foster trusting relationships with business partners.

Educational qualifications

•Minimum qualification required: MBA / Post Graduate / Masters in Supply Chain / Operations Management is mandatory •Any professional certifications required: Global Supply Chain certifications like CSCP / CPIM / MITx etc.

Work experience

•Relevant years of work experience required: 1 to 7 years •The candidate must have experience particularly in a professional services firm / consulting / Big 4 •Prior consulting background, global consulting experience – e.g., North American Region (NAMER), EMEA region.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

•Strong functional background including but not limited to inventory management, demand planning, production planning and scheduling, logistics optimization and IT in supply chain. •Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) with ability to perform analysis from large data sets using ETL tools like Alteryx. •Experience in visualization and dashboards using Power BI / Tableau. •Preferred  technical & functional skills •Prior experience in Network Optimization tools such as Coupa Supply Chain Guru (Llamasoft), AIMMS, iLog etc. is preferred. •Exposure in Data Science, AI, ML tools like R / Python.
