The wafer clamp is a complex piece of hardware that interacts with the customer's wafers. It is crucial for enabling lithography to meet the ever-tightening specifications on overlay, focus, and throughput while ensuring high availability. If you are curious about understanding what drives customer performance in our scanner, and if quantifying that performance through inspection, tests, and data analysis energizes you, then this position is for you. You will gain experience in a world-leading technology company during your studies by being part of a team of highly motivated and young engineers who will accompany you on this journey.
In the ASML Wafer Table and Clamp Analysis Group, we collect various data to analyze performance of wafer clamps. The ultimate aim from this department is to build an artificial intelligence-based framework.
This framework has the potential to not only assist us in predict clamp performance and the impact of wear patterns, but also would help to increase the clamp lifetime. It will benefit ASML in providing guidance towards relevant control actions. The main assignment includes:
This is a Master's internship for 6 to 9 months, minimum 4 days per week/maximum 5 days per week. The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.
