Job Overview:

We are on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Biostatistician to play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge biopharmaceutical products. As a (Senior) Biostatistician, you will be the mastermind behind implementing statistical strategies for product development and regulatory submissions, ensuring our projects soar to new heights. This role must be based in Melbourne and is Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Innovation: Align non-clinical and pre-clinical statistics with R&D project priorities, translating needs into actionable plans.
• Lead with Expertise: Oversee and support statistical methodology for data analysis, interpretation of results, report generation, and experimental design.
• Collaborate and Conquer: Work closely with one of our leading FSP clients, making a tangible impact on their success.
• Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid work arrangement, including minimum of twice-weekly visits to our clients Melbourne office.

Qualifications:

• Educational Excellence: PhD, Master's degree in biostatistics or related field with one year of relevant experience, OR Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant experience, OR a range of other qualifications and experience.
• Proven Expertise: Direct experience in the statistical delivery and oversight of non-clinical and pre-clinical statistics within Research & Development.
• Communication Pro: Exceptional communication skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Regulatory Savvy: In-depth knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements (GCP and ICH guidelines).
• Statistical Mastery: Familiarity with complex statistical methods applicable to clinical trials (e.g., mixed models and survival methodology).
• Tech-Savvy: Strong working knowledge of SAS, R, Python, or other statistical analysis software.
• Adaptable and Agile: Flexibility and eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic biostatistics and programming team.
