Senior MES System Analyst

Purpose of the Position:

As the main contact for MES requirements of CDT Division IT, the MES senior analyst is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the advanced MES system. This includes efficiently collecting and analyzing business user requirements and providing appropriate solutions. Additionally, the analyst acts as a key contact between business users and the global/regional IT organization to ensure the implementation of IT policies and support digital transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main contact for Manufacturing systems and digital needs in division IT.
• Follow global IT /Division IT processes to prioritize and manage requests, meeting system requirements and user expectations.
• Coordinate resources to deliver technical and functional solutions for MES systems and digital need.
• Provide daily IT service by coordinating with global/Regional IT resources.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and security standards during the implementation process and daily operation.

Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• 7 years or more of hands-on experience in IT system development and maintenance.
• Proven experience in leading and managing digital initiatives, preferably in a complex organization.
• Experienced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify digital opportunities and support business finding solutions.
• Strong team and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong knowledge and experience in maintaining Manufacturing Execution Systems and manufacturing processes.
• Good English & Chinese communication in speaking, writing and presentation.

Required Skills:

• Be familiar with the following computer skills:
• Experience and knowledge of creating, developing and improving MES systems and tools, master with software development tools such as Python, Java, C#, VB .NET, ASP .NET. Manipulation of Relational Database Systems: system design and manipulation, SQL statements, stored procedures (Experience with Oracle and SQL Server is a must)
• Be capable of configuring and evaluating systems architecture and use modeling and testing to assess the refined designs.
• Familiar with development tools such as Microsoft Power platform, Python, Databricks, Data Analytic tools and Git, etc.
• General knowledge of AWS / LLM / GenAI etc digital tools.
