3D and Motion Design intern

 This role is part of our Experience & Engineering business team. We combine our skills in developing future-ready technical solutions with our expertise in creating beautiful designs to deliver engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like Tikkie, Inter Milan, Hubo, and Lufthansa.

JOB PURPOSE

Looking to kick off your creative career in CGI? Join our talent program designed to shape you into a next-level 3D & motion designer. We’ll give you all the attention, feedback, GIFs, and high fives you need to grow into a standout professional. Our goal? To help you reach your full potential.

During this internship you’ll swap the jogging-shoes for rocket-boots. One minute you’re creating a hero asset in Cinema 4D, the next you’re velocity-matching keyframes in After Effects and colour-grading in DaVinci. Need a quick look-dev? Fire up Octane or Redshift and let those GPUs sweat. Feeling experimental? Spin up a Stable Diffusion prompt, run a Runway Gen-3 pass, or knock out an interactive prototype in Jitter.

From day one, you’ll be paired with a dedicated buddy for 1-on-1 coaching and join a team of 40+ passionate designers always ready to help. Our hands-on workshops will sharpen your skills even further. 

By the end of your internship, you’ll have gained valuable experience in the field, worked on projects for A-list clients, and built a portfolio that truly turns heads.

Please note: to be eligible for this internship, you are required to be living and studying in the Netherlands. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Turn sketches into moving worlds: Build 3D scenes in Cinema 4D, Blender, Redshift or Octane from first style-frame to hero render.
• Prototype at the speed of curiosity: Whip up look-dev tests and motion studies; sometimes with classic keyframes, sometimes with AI image- or video-generation.
• Polish every pixel: Dive into compositing, colour and sound-sync in After Effects or DaVinci Resolve so every deliverable shines, whether it’s a 4K brand film or a tiny push-notification.
• Grow our asset library: Organise models, textures, lighting rigs (and AI prompt presets if that’s your jam).
• Jump into brainstorms & client reviews: Present your work, take feedback like a champ and learn to balance creative ambition with budgets and timelines.Spot the next big thing: Share new plugins, workflows or AI releases that excite you; your fresh perspective keeps us ahead of the curve.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Even if you don’t tick every box, that doesn’t mean we’re not a match. If you feel like this role could be right for you—just go for it and apply!

• Having a passion for 3D motion design, and an interest in exploring AI tools is a big plus, not a must.
• Aren’t afraid of words like Easings, Expressions, Null objects, Material Editor and HDRIs.
• Have demonstrable experience with Cinema 4D, Otoy Octane and/or Redshift (or comparable software) and are also handy with Adobe After Effects or DaVinci Resolve
• Have basic skills for prototyping in (Jitter, or similar software), video editing (Premier/DaVinci), or audio editing (Ableton or other)? That’s a plus!
• Are proactive, flexible, and know how to work together and alone
• Study something along the lines of 3D motion design

Hard Requirements

• Availability of 5 days per week, from September 2024 for a duration of 5 months.
• You are fluent in English - whether you’re writing, presenting, or just chatting with the team.
