Temporary Senior Executive, Data Analytics (1-year contract)

The Senior Executive, Data Analyst role is important to:

• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards for student-related data analytics.

• Translate student data into clear and actionable visualizations to support reporting and decision-making across the university.

The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Develop, maintain, and update dashboards using tools such as Qlik Sense to visualize student data effectively.

• Work with internal data users to gather reporting requirements and ensure dashboards are accurate, accessible, and relevant.

• Support data extraction and integration from Denodo and other data sources to create datasets for visualization and basic reporting.

• Ensure data consistency and quality in visualized reports and dashboards, and flag data discrepancies where necessary.

• Collaborate with senior analysts and business users to understand data use cases and enhance existing reports and dashboards accordingly.

• Perform documentation and data cataloguing of key datasets and metrics used in student dashboards.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in data analytics or dashboard development.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, etc.

• Basic working knowledge of SQL for querying data from databases.

• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong interest in student analytics and higher education data is a plus.

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
