What you'll do

We’re looking for a Senior Client Platform Engineer with expertise in macOS, Windows, and Google Workspace, and strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.). In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our Fleet Management product, leading the implementation and evolution of our Mobile Experience (MDM) strategy across the organization. Your mission is to ensure secure, compliant, and seamless device experiences for all employees — balancing usability, automation, and security.

 

This is an Individual Contributor position reporting to Sr. Manager, Client Platform Engineering.

 

 

Responsibility

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize our MDM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, Google Workspace) to support BYOD enrollment and enforce security policies.
  • Develop and implement device enrollment workflows for mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
  • Manage device profiles, configurations, and application deployments through the MDM platform.
  • Implement and maintain conditional access policies to restrict resource access based on device compliance.
  • Leverage AI-powered insights and telemetry to proactively detect compliance gaps and security risks across the device fleet.
  • Implement policy-driven automation to streamline provisioning, software updates, and remediation workflows.
  • Integrate machine learning–driven analytics to monitor fleet health, detect usage anomalies, and surface actionable trends.
  • Design intelligent automation workflows using event-based triggers and data-driven decision logic to eliminate manual tasks.
  • Contribute to self-healing endpoint configurations through scripted automation and dynamic policy enforcement.

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Information Technology, with a focus on end-user services and systems engineering
  • Experience programming/scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or AWS CLI
  • Experience with secure cloud computing and services, including AWS and Azure
  • Experience implementing and enforcing mobile security policies across iOS and Android platforms
  • Experience with MDM platforms including Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, and Google Workspace endpoint management
  • Flexibility to support occasional off-hours or weekend work when needed

Preferred

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration and support
  • Experience with GitHub, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience automating tasks and workflows with a strong automation-first mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with complex enterprise application ecosystems, including integrations and customizations supporting diverse business processes
  • Experience supporting or designing high-scale, highly available systems (99.99%+ uptime)
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance tracking
  • Ability to deliver time- and resource-saving efficiencies through automation tools and scripting expertise
  • Demonstrated experience managing and delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to IT operations, such as AIOps, predictive analytics, and anomaly detection
  • Experience integrating AI-driven automation and policy-based enforcement in MDM or IT workflows
  • Exposure to tools or platforms leveraging AI-enhanced monitoring, intelligent alerting, or self-healing systems
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as context-aware access, automated threat response, and intelligent IT support assistants
