Aisera is seeking an experienced IT Support Administrator to join our global IT team. This role will provide comprehensive IT support for employees based in India and Europe, ensuring smooth operation of infrastructure, systems, and end-user technology.

This position combines IT infrastructure management, network and security operations, help desk support, and IT asset management responsibilities. The role requires excellent communication skills, hands-on technical expertise, and a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, operating systems, and hardware/software components.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement appropriate solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems including Google Workspace and Microsoft Azure/O365.

Network and Security:

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect the organization's systems, data, and networks.
  • Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify and mitigate potential security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.

Help Desk Support:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff members in India and Europe, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware components.
  • Respond to user inquiries, assess needs, and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and knowledge base articles.

IT Procurement and Asset Management:

  • Coordinate the procurement of IT equipment, software licenses, and services.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets, track warranties, and manage software licenses.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware upgrades to improve efficiency and productivity.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar IT support role.
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing) — able to support international teams effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, networking, and security concepts.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Administration experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Azure/O365 platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM solutions and automation such as Kandji, Jamf, Intune.
  • Familiarity with networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and security protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Scripting or automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or Google Workspace Administrator.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
