Job Responsibilities:

• To undertake research in artificial intelligence and computer science more broadly.

• To write research papers and reports for dissemination to the wider academic community.

• To provide guidance and support to students associated with the project.

• To attend, contribute, and where necessary lead relevant meetings.

• To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related area

• Knowledge of probabilistic graphical models and/or knowledge compilation is an asset

• Mastery of a programming language is helpful (e.g. Python, C++, …)

• Have good technical reading, writing and programming skills.

• Have a strong research track record

• High desire for technological exploration and achievement

• Self-driven, highly motivated, with interest to work with other researchers and scientists (as a team player) to produce high-quality research

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
