Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Denmark. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining internal software applications that directly support our global operations in Denmark, Brazil, and Scotland.  

In this role, you will develop simple solutions to complex problems, working closely with end-users to ensure our applications are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. You will take ownership of projects, leading cross-functional initiatives and mentoring other developers.  

Your work will involve continuously refactoring code, improving system architecture, and integrating AI-driven applications into our workflow. You will thrive in an agile, low-meeting environment, focusing on actual development rather than rigid frameworks.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain in-house desktop and web applications for the Subsea Production Systems business area. 

• Optimize SQL databases and API services for performance and scalability. 

• Reduce complexity in existing and future code architecture. 

• Work closely with end-users and production teams to enhance usability and efficiency. 

• Lead technology projects across the Subsea Production Systems business area. 

• Drive the adoption of AI-powered applications in our workflows. 

• Contribute to a collaborative, innovation-driven team environment. 

Key Requirements: 

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) or autodidact within software development. 

• Full-Stack Development experience with a strong focus on: 
     - Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js 
     - SQL databases and FastAPI 
    -  Pydantic models and Dataclasses 

• Experience with Numpy/Scipy (bonus: scikit or other ML frameworks). 

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for deploying containerized applications. 

• Strong GitHub and Copilot experience. 

• Comfortable working in agile and product development environments. 

• Several years of hands-on experience in software development and product development.
