Senior Data Analytics Manager, Product

The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Data Analytics Manager to join the Customer Insights team within the Product organization leading a team of analysts responsible for ongoing performance tracking, reporting, and ad-hoc queries from stakeholders. This Manager will partner closely with leadership from across the Sportsbook Business to identify useful insights, drivers of growth, and opportunities to improve the player experience. 

This role is located in Dublin, Ireland

Duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Provide leadership, mentoring and technical expertise within the Product Analytics team, being ready to delve into other areas of business analytics as needed - especially in the early days of our team's growth.
  • Become a leader on the Consumer Insights leadership team, identifying opportunities to use qualitative customer insights to drive and complement quantitative data research.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders in the Product teams and become a key voice in using data to define feature success, drive product development and influence roadmaps.
  • Be a business leader on multivariate testing approach for relevant areas of the Product, from design, implementation, results, right through to recommendations for next steps. 
  • Drive the integration of data insights into the Product roadmap, from product conception through  implementation and beyond 
  • Be a hands-on analyst, creating insights both regular and ad hoc. Gather and present insights, metrics and activities to key stakeholders, becoming a trusted source of intelligence and advisory over time. 
  • Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, as well as related products and operations.
  • Remain current on technology and trends in data analytics and the sports betting & gaming industry. 

 

What skills are important to us:

  • A minimum of 6 years proven experience in an analytics role, with minimum 2 years managing analysts.
  • Degree in a relevant field, e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Strong SQL proficiency.
  • Strong proficiency in a statistical programming language, e.g. R or Python.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, e.g. Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Experience in data analysis or mathematical model development, with a strong understanding of statistics concepts such as multivariate testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with engineers and stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships 
  • Strong executive presentation and communication skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders to make business decisions.
  • Customer focused; highly outcome-oriented and data-driven; experienced in working in high-growth environments.
  • Logical and analytical approach to problem solving, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in the betting and gaming industry is a significant plus.
