THE TEAM
The North American Data and Development Team plays a central role in Creditsafe’s US data strategy, with team members based across the United States, Hyderabad, and Cardiff. The team is responsible for the end-to-end management of US data — from ingestion and validation to continuous improvement — ensuring we deliver accurate, high-quality information to power our products. With dedicated team leads and close oversight from senior leadership, the team supports Creditsafe’s ambition to become the top provider of business credit information within the US within the next five years.
JOB PROFILE
As a Technical Data Analyst you will play a key role in designing and implementing technical solutions that support our business objectives and long-term strategy. You’ll collaborate across teams to refine priorities, optimize processes, and develop automation that enhances efficiency. This role combines hands-on development and data analysis while working closely with our data engineering and analytics teams to ensure alignment with business needs.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Write Python scripts, optimize SQL queries, and build integrations with APIs to automate workflows and enhance data processing.
· Investigate and resolve technical challenges across SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, AWS Athena, Redshift, and other cloud infrastructure to ensure data integrity and system efficiency.
· Guide engineers and analysts by defining clear priorities, streamlining sprint planning, and ensuring effective backlog management.
· Design and implement automation, scheduled jobs, and cloud-based solutions to improve operational efficiency.
· Work closely with engineering, data, and business teams to ensure technical solutions align with strategic objectives.
· Create clear technical documentation, maintain best practices, and contribute to technology roadmaps.
