Intern – Automated Anthropometric Features from 3D Head Meshes (m/f/d)
Accurate anthropometric features of the human head and pinna are essential for applications such as customizing Head-Related Transfer Functions (HRTFs), which improve the realism of spatial audio. These features are typically used to select or adjust HRTFs for individual users. However, small measurement errors can significantly affect the quality of spatial audio personalization.
This internship aims to develop automated methods for extracting head and pinna features from 3D mesh data.
