The Opportunity:

We’re looking for our Enterprise Data and BI Lead to drive business intelligence strategy and data literacy across Komatsu — a leader in heavy mobile equipment.

This is a new, high-impact role for a passionate data professional who thrives in a matrixed environment and is able to influence stakeholders.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping enterprise-wide BI reporting, leveraging Power BI within the Microsoft ecosystem to enhance decision-making processes.

Plus, you’ll be supporting report development, coordinating communication plans, and facilitating knowledge sharing across departments.

Working closely with analysts through a dotted-line reporting structure, you’ll engage with senior stakeholders, including regional heads and leadership teams, to advance data governance, enterprise data models, and reporting capabilities.

This is a highly-visible opportunity for a driven individual within our business intelligence, data, AI, and reporting governance.

What we are looking for:

• Technical Expertise – Strong hands-on experience in Power BI, enterprise data models, and data governance
• Stakeholder Management – Ability to engage and influence without direct control, working across a complex matrix structure
• Presentation & Communication – Comfortable presenting insights and reports to senior leadership teams
• Strategic Leadership – A passion-driven individual who can navigate uncertainty and drive change
• Industry Experience – Background in a mature, regulated industry with experience in complex organisations
• Adaptability – High energy, open to experimentation, and comfortable with evolving role dynamics
