Master Data Management Lead EMEA

The Master Data Management (MDM) Lead will oversee and manage the organization's master data across multiple domains. The MDM Lead will collaborate with business and IT teams to define data models that meet business requirements (use cases). You will design data governance strategies, implement MDM solutions, and drive best practices in managing master data throughout its lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design data models to ensure they meet business needs: document all concepts and definitions.
• Define and enforce data governance strategy, standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security.
• Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality of master data across multiple business systems, including customer, product, supplier, and financial data.
• Establish and maintain metrics and reporting to track the effectiveness of MDM initiatives and overall data governance health.
• Act as a subject matter expert on MDM platforms and tools

Requirements

• Educational Background:  Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Senior experience in data management, preferably in an industrial sector
• Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as data quality software and MDM platforms, is a plus.
• Project management Skills: Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Strong pragmatic problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and promote data management initiatives.
• Fluent in English – any additional European language is a plus
