Product Owner - Master Data Management & Operations

The Position

As the Product Owner on our team, you will engage collaboratively with all levels of the organization, from senior management to tactical execution, to enhance our core Product Launch solutions and associated Analytics assets. You will work within a professional and supportive atmosphere that fosters practical experience in a Technical Product Management role, laying a solid foundation for your future career.

In this position, you will support, develop, and refine our Product Launch systems and processes, contributing to critical strategic business outcomes, such as reducing Time to Market. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of our products, from the initial concept through to retirement, encompassing not only the core Product Launch systems but also all related Analytics and Dashboards. Additionally, you will collaborate effectively with internal business partners, IT teams, and external vendors to execute product strategies. Your responsibilities will also include establishing standardized key performance indicators, automating insight generation, and providing relevant, actionable recommendations to drive improvements.

What will you do?

  • Work closely with business partners, to identify and interpret business needs and respond with configurable, Product Launch insights.
  • Build and review requirements for Product Launch platforms, including the platform's UI/UX.
  • Understand your partner personas, deliver a fantastic user experience, balancing user’s desires, and the technology’s capabilities.
  • Develop and own ongoing support for product launch materials including training documentation, SDLC documentation, and product guides. Ensure data integrity across all product launch solutions.
  • Direct delivery teams and establish product roadmaps.
  • Write and prioritize backlog user stories, focusing on technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Grooms best in class product features with detailed analysis of impact vs value.
  • Shape & owns the Product Launch roadmap & vision.
  • Keeps track of industry trends.
  • Responsible for design and implementation of strategic, aligned, and compliant solutions to support business initiatives. Support management vision, strategy, and policy for building a high-performance engagement model with business partners.
  • Realize core sustainable processes and enablers of successful delivery. Practice and foster a mindset of leveraging analytics to gain insights and for data-focused decision making.
  • Build exceptional relationships with stakeholders which are focused on meeting the business needs and most value for investments.
  • Demonstrate and drive high quality change management practices with clients and stakeholders while implementing solutions that are sustainable. Be a role model of management capabilities and behaviors.
  • Ensure that the solutions are aligned IT platforms and supports business strategy.
  • Respect diversity on teams, different perspectives, ideas, knowledge while working towards a common goal.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT Product Owner/Business Analyst Role
  • 5+ years of experience with master data management, product lifecycle, data governance, business intelligence or analytics
  • 5+ years of experience working in cross functional teams
  • 5+ years of experience working in digital role (Product owner, SCRUM master etc)
  • Knowledge of life sciences or healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of Agile Values, principles & practices
  • Agile Scrum Master or Agile Product Owner Certified
  • Office365 Champion
  • A demonstrated record of success as a Master Data Professional in the pharmaceutical/consumer manufacturing or related industry with deep knowledge on data and business processes and systems
  • Ability to evaluate complex situations and processes and effectively integrate and synthesize the data to form a complete cohesive picture
  • Proven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mind
  • Exceptionally well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate and effectively influence stakeholders and business strategy
  • The ability to navigate cross-divisional programs, coordinate projects and processes across regional/global boundaries, and build effective cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
  • A team player who places great emphasis on collective achievements and team diversity
