Master Data Governance Analyst

Core Responsibilities:

Customer Master Data:

  • Create, update, and manage customer master data in the SAP system.
  • Work closely with sales, customer service, and credit teams to ensure customer information is accurate and current.
  • Conduct regular audits of customer data to maintain high data quality standards.
  • Monitor customer data quality and assist in data cleansing initiatives.

Material Master Data:

  • Maintain and update material master data, including product descriptions, specifications, and classifications.
  • Coordinate with production, inventory, supply chain, quality, and accounting teams to ensure material data accuracy.
  • Perform data validation and cleansing to support efficient material management processes.

Data Quality and Standardization:

  • Support data quality initiatives by identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • Ensure data standardization across different master data domains.

Projects and Improvement:

  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate master data requirements into system implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Participate in SAP implementation projects, process, and system changes.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, procurement, and sales, to address master data-related challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with business leaders, providing insights and recommendations based on master data analysis.

Audits:

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external audit requirements.
  • Implement audit recommendations to improve master data processes and controls.

Training and Documentation:

  • Help develop and update training materials and conduct training sessions for team members on master data processes and best practices.

Qualified Candidates:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • SAP experience is a must.
  • Basic programming knowledge (VBA Macros/Python) is desired.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Language Proficiency:

  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Expert proficiency in Spanish.
  • Basic proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.

Business Acumen:

  • Strong understanding of business and financial concepts.

Soft Skills:

  • Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Adapt and remain flexible in dealing with different viewpoints and site differences. Effectively manage ambiguity.
  • Be detail-oriented and measurement-driven.
  • Understanding of the cultural and economic nuances of the Americas region.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing requests and priorities.
  • Possess strong influencing skills and collaborate effectively across multiple levels of the enterprise.
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to establish common ground for win-win outcomes.
