Intermediate BI Developer

This position will allow for applied practice of all phases of the system development life-cycle. The Business Intelligence Developer position is an critical role in the process to support reporting and analytics, key initiatives, and partner relationships.

What you will do

• Work with technical leads and architects to refine and complete requirements

• Translate business requirements to technical specifications

• Work with technical leads and architects to define solutions

• Implementing technical requirements to transform and integrate data sources

• Create processes that support reporting and analytics through scripting and code development

What experience you need 

• 2-3 years hands-on experience in a data-focused role involving extensive SQL usage, including writing complex queries and functions.
• 1 year of experience in data ingestion, data transformation, and data preparation processes.
• 1 year of exposure to ETL concepts and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience with an object oriented programming language like JavaScript or Python.

What could set you apart

• Familiarity with BI visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).

• Exposure to programming languages used in data manipulation (e.g., Python, R).

• Basic understanding of financial concepts or experience working with financial data.

• Knowledge of data warehousing principles.

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
