Senior Architect , Vice President

Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and versatile Senior Solution Architect with expertise in at least one of AWS and Azure, coupled with strong programming and design skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy experimenting with modern technologies, work on proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, write reusable components/templates and rapid iterations across cloud and other emerging domains. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and Build Modern Solutions: Design and implement (templates) secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across AWS and Azure, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Drive PoC projects to evaluate and showcase the potential of emerging technologies, particularly in the cloud and AI spaces.
• Rapid Project Execution: Collaborate with application and platform teams to deliver quick wins, experimenting with modern tools, frameworks, and approaches to solve complex challenges.
• Programming and Development: Apply programming expertise to build and deploy cloud-native applications, focusing on efficiency, reusability, and performance.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with product, platform, and business teams to understand requirements and create innovative solutions aligned with the organization’s goals.
• Develop and Share Best Practices: Contribute to the creation of reusable patterns, standards, and reference architectures for cloud and emerging technologies.
• Stay Ahead of Trends: Actively explore and recommend modern tools and technologies, with a keen interest in AI, machine learning, and other innovative areas.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Cloud Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS and Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and cloud-native frameworks.
• Programming Proficiency: Hands-on experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Terraform etc.
• PoC and Rapid Iteration Experience: Proven ability to lead and execute proof-of-concept projects with a focus on practical results and business alignment.
• Design Skills: Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, hybrid/multi-cloud strategies, and modern application design.
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in AI/ML: Passion for exploring AI/ML capabilities and how they can be applied to solve business challenges (hands-on experience is a plus, but not required).
• Financial Services Knowledge: Understanding of financial services and regulatory environments is a strong advantage.
• Agile and DevOps Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and tools such as CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.
• Reusability and Standards: Experience contributing to reusable frameworks, patterns, and technical documentation.
