Purpose of the job

The primary purpose of this role is to support on the Part Number generation with the technical datasheets in Orchestra to support configuration management and Materials Management. In addition to support on RAMS (‘Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety’), Maintenance Plan optimization and change management activities when required.

The holder of this position will be working with excel, Orchestra and GSI to support the succesful migration of the configuration in GSI and maintain it.

This includes working with the Maintenance Planners, Asset configuration controllers and Service Engineers to have visibility on train status, equipment faults and design changes.

Duties will include activities associated with but not limited to corrective/preventative maintenance of Rolling Stock, Depot Equipment, Track Switches, Depot Facilities, Tooling and Materials.

Performance Measurement

Comply with all quality and safety requirements.
Follow systems and procedures outlined by company / project manuals.
Ensure Company policies & procedures are followed.
Ensure contractual commitments are delivered for both T&C and Maintenance scope.
Practice Configuration & Change Management process application in Services.

Responsibilities

Import and maintain system configuration in the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
Support on other System Assurance (RAMS) activities when required (e.g safety).
To follow the configuration management process in Services.

Experience

Confident, English language skills, both verbal and written
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or another related field
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
Experience with large databases and Maximo, GSI or similar CMMS
