Data analysis & Material support Engineer
Purpose of the job
The primary purpose of this role is to support on the Part Number generation with the technical datasheets in Orchestra to support configuration management and Materials Management. In addition to support on RAMS (‘Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety’), Maintenance Plan optimization and change management activities when required.
The holder of this position will be working with excel, Orchestra and GSI to support the succesful migration of the configuration in GSI and maintain it.
This includes working with the Maintenance Planners, Asset configuration controllers and Service Engineers to have visibility on train status, equipment faults and design changes.
Duties will include activities associated with but not limited to corrective/preventative maintenance of Rolling Stock, Depot Equipment, Track Switches, Depot Facilities, Tooling and Materials.
