Actuarial Intern, South Asia Data Team

In this role, you will work closely with data & innovation actuaries to implement the data management & database strategy for South Asia markets, including but not limited to data standardization, transformation, cleansing, validation, and other value-add services & initiatives. 

Key duties and responsibilities 

• Support the data preparation for onboarding of new cedants, treaties and products onto hELIOS (SCOR’s operating platform for seriatim treaty management and administration). 
• Support the development of data transformation and standardization modules in hELIOS
• Automate the data migration from SQL database into hELIOS, with proper cleansing and transformation
• Draw preliminary insights from the data and share with key internal stakeholders
• Design the data flow and infrastructure from hELIOS to other tools / platforms for the purpose of technical accounting and experience analysis

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Previous internship in data or actuarial field in a similar environment is not required but will be advantageous. 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong data management and programming skills
• Proficiency in SQL, preferably with hands-on experience in university or work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
