Job Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineer with extensive experience in big data platforms and relational databases. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Teradata Tools and Utilities, advanced programming skills, and a solid understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and CI/CD practices. This role involves transforming complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and collaborating effectively across distributed teams.   Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex analytical queries and data pipelines primarily using Teradata and other RDBMS platforms (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Implement and optimize data models for Enterprise Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Business Intelligence reporting environments.
  • Perform performance tuning and database management to ensure efficiency and scalability of data systems.
  • Translate business use cases and requirements into technical solutions that drive actionable insights.
  • Utilize CI/CD development and deployment tools, preferably Azure DevOps, to streamline data engineering workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional and remote teams to deliver integrated data solutions.
  • Support integration of data systems with other applications and platforms within the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout all data engineering processes.
