About this role

A Data Science & Analytics Intern will work closely with global cross-disciplinary teams to accelerate the development, testing, validation, and deployment of cloud-based analytic models. Innovation and research of new, emerging technologies in the field of data science, AI, and ML is strongly encouraged to ensure best in class performance of differentiating products and product features.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and translate into functional milestones to measure progress
• Develop, test, validate, and deploy cloud-based analytics workloads
• Evaluate several analytic models for various use cases to deliver best KPI metrics
• Tune and optimize data-driven models to provide best results and system performance
• Design methods and criteria with which to test and validate analytic models
• Visualize analytic results in clear, meaningful way
• Communicate analytic results to cross functional teams and stakeholders
   

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics Engineering or Engineering Data Science.
• 3.0 or higher GPA
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with methods of data science, data analytics, and/or statistical analysis
• Excellent critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to gather new ideas and translate them into functional requirements
• Basic understanding of principles of thermodynamics and thermal systems is a plus
• Energetic team member with effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to solve challenging and complex customer requests
