What’s the role?As a Data Analyst in our HR Service Centre team, you’ll play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive smarter decisions and operational excellence across the Westpac Group. This is a full-time position based in Sydney with flexible hybrid working options. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting, build intuitive dashboards, and support continuous improvement through data-driven intelligence.
What do I need?We’re looking for someone who’s analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about using data to make a difference. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation using tools like Excel, Tableau or Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data warehouses and large datasets.
- The ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for a range of stakeholders.
- Experience with data modelling, profiling, and quality assurance.
- Bonus: knowledge of Python or R, and experience working in Agile environments (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
