Consultant Business Intelligence Enablement

Role Purpose

The Business Intelligence (BI) Enablement Consultant will lead the strategic development, enablement, and continuous enhancement of business intelligence solutions within the GIAD BI Center of Excellence (CoE). This role aligns BI initiatives with broader organizational objectives, improves data literacy and self-service capabilities across the enterprise, and ensures BI tools and processes are accessible, scalable, and impactful. The BI Enablement Consultant will serve as a critical connector, ensuring that BI solutions meet reporting and analytics needs and support strategic decision-making through practical training, user adoption, and stakeholder engagement. The BI Enablement Consultant will oversee training content creation, lead capability-building sessions, develop best practices, and manage feedback loops to continuously improve the user experience and value of BI assets. 

Key Accountabilities

• Design and implement business intelligence (BI) processes that align with the Center of Excellence (CoE) and enterprise-wide business objectives, supporting the development of a long-term BI roadmap.
• Recommend and uphold best practices for data governance, security, and enterprise reporting standards.
• Partner with business units, senior leaders, and IT teams to understand and translate data needs into scalable, high-impact business intelligence (BI) solutions.
• Communicate technical insights in a business-friendly format and lead educational efforts to enhance data literacy across the organization.
• Continuously refine business intelligence (BI) solutions to enhance usability, performance, and effectiveness based on business feedback and evolving requirements.
• Stay informed on emerging BI technologies and advanced analytics trends, identifying innovative opportunities for adoption within GIAD.

Key Skills & Experiences

Education –

Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience –

• 6+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, data strategy, analytics enablement, or related fields, with a proven track record of supporting enterprise-wide BI initiatives and training programs.
• Proficiency in leading data visualization platforms such as Tableau, coupled with hands-on experience in data manipulation using tools like SQL, Excel, or Python to generate meaningful insights and drive decision-making.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable strategies and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated success working in a Center of Excellence (CoE) or large-scale global enterprise environment, with a solid understanding of cross-functional collaboration, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies, including iterative delivery, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews, is preferred.
