We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Tech Lead – Generative AI to spearhead our AI-driven product initiatives. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge AI innovation and high-impact product development. You will lead a team of AI researchers and engineers in building and deploying scalable Gen AI systems across our product suite, driving both technical depth and business value.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Generative AI models and systems, including LLMs, diffusion models, and other transformer-based architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—product managers, designers, and business leaders—to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Architect scalable and production-ready AI pipelines, ensuring low latency, high availability, and robust model performance in real-world settings.
• Guide the team through rigorous experimentation, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation of AI models using large-scale datasets.
• Stay at the forefront of advancements in AI, ML, NLP, and Gen AI and integrate them into the company’s tech roadmap.
• Establish and maintain best practices for AI/ML engineering, including version control, model monitoring, ethical AI considerations, and explainability.
• Mentor a high-performing team of machine learning engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
• Contribute to high-level technical decision-making and provide thought leadership across the AI organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 11+ years of overall experience in software development, with at least 5+ years in AI/ML-focused roles.
• Proven experience leading complex Gen AI projects from ideation to production.
• Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and LLMs.
• Hands-on expertise with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, etc.
• Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, especially in deploying AI workloads.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering principles, including data collection, preprocessing, annotation, and quality assurance.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive alignment with business goals.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields. A PhD is a plus but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS), and foundation model customization.
• Publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences or open-source contributions in the Gen AI space.
