Management and Governance of our bank’s data not only ensures reliable decision making but also plays a key role in preserving our clients’ trust. As a Data Governance specialist with the Chief Data Office – Data Frameworks team, you will play a crucial role defining and enhancing the bank’s Data Management Policy, Procedures and Standards addressing both business and regulatory requirements and risks. In this role you will also collaborate with different business divisions of the bank, helping them adopt the Data Management Policy and Standards on areas including Data Sourcing, Data Lineage, Data Cataloguing as well as Data Quality & Controls.

Your key responsibilities

• Design data governance Policy, Procedures and Standards to improve Deutsche Bank’s Data Management frameworks with the goal of facilitating effective adoption by business divisions across the bank
• Define and enhance standards and operating model for establishing data lineage across multiple business divisions in the bank
• Design and enhance standards for Data Sourcing and Data Authorisation
• Document guidelines for business divisions to enable compliance to specific Data Management Standards
• Analyse regulatory and internal findings on Data Management and devise cross-divisional remediation plans for gap closure
• Review and understand data governance assets in tools like Collibra and Solidatus, to assess divisional adoption of Data Management practices and identify opportunities for improvement

Your skills and experience

• Strong experience in the area of data management, must include experience in data governance and data lineage, useful experience in data authorisation, data quality, data risk or regulatory compliance
• Experience with Data Governance tools (like Collibra) as well as Data Lineage tools (like Solidatus)
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
