Is knowledgeable in, responds to, and resolves a variety of inventory as well as Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing and reimbursement issues. Works with Mayo Clinic Store management to help them understand product inventory issues, product flow and turns, maintains an accurate product inventory data base and payer contract pricing. Works closely with Mayo Clinic Store and Mayo Clinic Revenue Cycle teams to resolve denial and claim issues through management of Mayo Clinic stores billing system. Runs standardized reports on a designated time frame to assure accurate data controls. Maintains effective systems and data integrity.
Bachelor’s degree, with Inventory Management/Supply Chain/Healthcare billing preferred, and 2 years experience in inventory management, product knowledge, vendor relations, DME payer requirements, and automation. Must have strong human relations skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Requires good decision making and judgment capabilities. Must understand medical terminology, Medicare, LCD, and other payer billing criteria. Must be highly organized, efficient, multi-functional with the ability to work independently on large sets of data. Knowledge of standard business software as well as reporting software and Microsoft excel.
